Argentine Beef Thanksgiving Roast
INGREDIENTS:
- A large piece of Argentine beef (heart of rump or roast-style cut)
- Oil
- Salt
- A little flour
- Water
HOW TO:
Step 1:
Pour some oil into a heavy pot or Dutch oven.
Step 2:
Season the beef with olive oil and salt, generously on all sides.
Step 3:
Place the whole pot to the oven and cook until the beef is browned on the outside and still juicy and pink inside.
Step 4:
Take the beef out of the pot and let it rest.
Step 5:
Make the gravy Return the pot to the stove with all the drippings. Add a spoonful of flour and whisk well. Slowly pour in water while whisking until the gravy becomes smooth and reaches your preferred thickness. Let it simmer a few minutes.
Step 6:
Slice the beef into juicy slices of your prefered thickness
Step 7:
Serve the super tender Argentine beef slices with gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans, you'd could also add cranberry sauce, just as you do with the turkey.
