Surf & Turf with Argentine Filet Mignon & “Gambas al Ajillo”

HOW TO:

1- Sear the Steak:
Season the filets with salt. Sear in a hot skillet for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare.

2- Cook the Shrimp:
In another pan, heat olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until fragrant (don’t let it burn). Add the shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side. Stir in sweet paprika.

3- Serve it up:
Place the filet over rustic bread, top with the garlic shrimp, and spoon the garlicky oil over everything. Garnish with chopped chives.
