Milanesa a la Fugazzeta

 

 

HOW TO:

Step 1:
Butterfly and lightly pound Argentine NY strip steaks to flatten.

Step 2:
Beat 3 eggs with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dip each steak into the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing to stick.

Step 3:
Fry in hot oil over medium-high heat until golden and crisp. Set aside to drain.

Step 4:
Thinly slice 1 small red onion and 1 small white onion.

Step 5:
Place milanesas on a baking sheet, top with provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, and the onions. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil.

Step 6:
Bake or broil at 400°F (200°C) until cheese is melted and onions are golden, 5–10 minutes, and enjoy!
