Strip Steak Tataki Style
How to:
Step 1:
Trim the strip steak and batter with sesame seeds.
Step 2:
Seal on a hot griddle for 2 minutes on each side and let it rest.
Step 3:
For a Teriyaki-style sauce, mix and cook soy sauce, sugar, ginger, honey and thicken with cornstarch to the desired texture.
Step 4:
Cut the strip steak in thin slices, dip them into the sauce, and crown them with scallions and chopped almonds for freshness and texture. Enjoy!
